Bra Size
Calculator

Find your starting size in UK sizing – Panache, Freya, Fantasie, Elomi and Wacoal.

01

Under the bust

Measure snugly and horizontally just under the bust – no extra room "for comfort". The band provides most of the support.

02

Around the bust

Measure loosely, wearing a soft bra, that holds your breasts well. The tape should not press into the skin or sag away from it.

03

Try it on

The result is a starting size – a point of reference. The final fit is always confirmed by trying the bra on.

Calculate your size

Enter both measurements and find your UK / EU starting size.

This is your starting size in UK sizing – the same used by Panache, Freya, Fantasie and Elomi.

The final fit also depends on the cut of the model and the shape of your bust – always try it on.

How to recognise a good fit?

The band stays level – it doesn't ride up at the back.

The cups contain the full breast – no spillage, no empty space.

The gore lies flat against the sternum – it doesn't bow away from the body.

The straps assist, not carry – the band does the heavy lifting.

Common fitting mistakes

Too loose a band

Going up a band size "for comfort" causes the bra to ride up at the back and lose its support. A loose band means poor lift.

Fearing a large cup letter

38G and 34G are very different cups. The letter only makes sense alongside the band. Don't shy away from larger letters – they're often exactly right.

Changing the band without adjusting the cup

If the band is too tight, the cup must change proportionally. Go from 36H to 38GG – not 38H.

Judging by looks alone

A bra can look fine and still not support properly. What matters is how it actually sits on your body.

Sister sizes

The same cup volume, different band. If the band doesn't fit – move to an adjacent band and adjust the cup proportionally.
