White alpaca beanie in a simple, classic shape
The KIARA style stays in a light white and ecru palette, with a clearly defined single rib running vertically. This is a women’s alpaca beanie with a calm, everyday look that pairs well with a coat, jacket or hood. Aga chose a medium-weight knit for this design, so it gives warmth on colder days without creating a heavy shape.
- No turn-up means less bulk at the forehead, so the beanie sits more easily under a hood.
- The single rib creates a flexible vertical structure, helping the beanie adapt to the shape of the head without holding a stiff form.
- The extended back gives it a looser beanie shape, so it does not end right at the nape.
- The medium-weight knit works well in autumn and winter, offering warmth suited to everyday wear.
- The surface has a delicate halo that gives it a softer, more enveloping look, but on very sensitive skin it may feel slightly itchy.
- High resistance to pilling helps it keep a neat appearance for longer, so it holds up well with regular wear.
Extras and care
We can add a matching pom-pom in the same yarn if you would like to turn the classic shape into a beanie with a pom-pom. We can also make a matching scarf, snood or shawl if you are looking for a coordinated alpaca hat and scarf set. The yarn has been tested for harmful substances. This alpaca wool beanie requires hand washing; drying flat helps preserve its shape and the knit’s natural spring. If we are sending it ready to ship, Marta packs it in a way that helps prevent the knit from losing its shape in transit.
