A thin, lightweight beanie made from merino wool with added polyamide, well suited to autumn and spring when you want some protection from the cold without overheating. A lightweight merino beanie for in-between weather
VARELLA 2.0 is a classic beanie without a turn-up cuff, with an extended back and made in a single rib stitch. This gives it a neat fit on the head while keeping the look visually light. The yarn, in shades of red and burgundy, is hand dyed, so the colour transitions in each piece are unique.
- 75% merino wool, 25% polyamide – a blend of the softness of a natural fibre with greater stretch and better resistance to losing shape.
- Lightweight knit – this baby merino beanie works well in changeable, transitional weather, for everyday wear in the city and for walks.
- Ribbed stitch and extended back – the beanie adapts to the shape of the head, does not slip over the eyes, and can be worn in a closer or more relaxed way.
- Smooth knit surface – with no halo, it helps reduce the risk of discomfort on sensitive skin while keeping a clean, classic look.
- A good option for sensitive skin – merino wool is gentler than many traditional wool types; as the knit has medium resistance to pilling, it is best to avoid heavy friction, for example against Velcro.
- Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified – the yarn meets standards for harmful substances, which for many people is an important part of a considered choice.
- Handmade on a knitting machine – each merino beanie is finished individually, and the colour placement comes from the hand-dyed yarn.
