A close-fitting, lightweight helmet liner beanie made from 100% baby merino wool, designed for the autumn-winter season. It has a double layer of knit throughout, so it provides noticeable warmth without adding bulk under a helmet. A good choice if you are looking for a thin beanie to wear under a cycling or safety helmet that fits closely and stays in place during movement. It will not be suitable if you want a very thick, loose beanie with a turned-up brim.
Comfort during activity
This style was designed to cover the ears and forehead evenly without creating a thick edge under the helmet strap. The stretchy, smooth knit helps the beanie stay in place while cycling or training outdoors, and merino wool helps regulate temperature and reduce overheating.
Material and feel against the skin
The beanie is made from 100% baby merino wool in a double layer of knit. The smooth surface and soft yarn are suitable for sensitive skin. The wool is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (Class I).
If worn frequently under a helmet, it is worth limiting friction against Velcro or rough elements to reduce the risk of pilling. Hand washing is recommended, in line with care instructions for wool accessories. If you use a fabric shaver, fewer pills will appear over time. This is a normal process.

To put together a practical set for colder days, you can add a matching merino wool snood. A snood works especially well for cycling, running and other outdoor activities – it protects the neck and lower part of the face from wind, and does not get in the way like a classic scarf.
