A large, triangular shawl hand-knitted from 100% alpaca wool. Lightweight, warm and comfortable to wrap around your shoulders, it can be worn instead of a scarf or as an extra layer on colder days. Choose your preferred colour from the available yarn shades, from natural beiges and greys to more vibrant colours. Each shawl is made to order, especially for you.
Large alpaca shawl – a warm wrap for your shoulders
This triangular shawl measures approximately 210 × 60 cm (longest edge × height). Drape it over your shoulders, wrap it around your neck or wear it with a coat instead of a traditional scarf. Alpaca wool provides good insulation against the cold while remaining relatively lightweight, so even a generously sized shawl does not have to feel heavy.
The knitted fabric has the characteristic fine halo of natural alpaca fibres. If you have very sensitive skin or dislike the feel of fuzzy yarns, please bear in mind that alpaca may also feel slightly prickly or cause irritation.
Choose your shawl colour and create a matching set
Each shawl is knitted by hand in your chosen colour. You can select a shade to complement your wardrobe or match it with a hat made from the same yarn.
If you enjoy coordinated accessories, explore our alpaca hats: KIARA Classic and LAURIN Classic. Versions with a folded brim are also available. A shawl and hat in the same colour can make a coordinated, handmade set for autumn and winter.
Alpaca bridal shawl – available in white and ecru
This large shawl can also be worn as a warm bridal wrap over a wedding dress, particularly for autumn and winter ceremonies. Choose white, ecru or another colour to complement your bridal outfit, subject to yarn colour availability.
It is also an option for brides who prefer a relaxed, draped knitted wrap to a traditional bolero or stole. After the wedding, you can continue wearing your shawl with everyday dresses, jumpers and coats rather than keeping it just for special occasions.
Hand-knitted craftsmanship and alpaca wool care
Each shawl is knitted by hand, so the finished measurements may vary slightly. This carefully made natural-fibre knit requires gentle care to help maintain its shape and appearance.
Hand wash at temperatures up to 30°C, using a gentle detergent suitable for wool. Do not wring the knitted fabric after washing. Lay the shawl flat, gently reshape it and leave it to dry. Do not hang it up while wet, as the weight of the water may cause the fabric to stretch.
